Street Talk defensive driving is using knowledge; moulding attitude and skill to save time, money and lives in spite of the actions of others and the conditions around you. 

Through a defensive driving course, drivers are made aware of the stressors in their lives, the multiplicity of tasks they have to manage and how these can build up and overload the driver. A range of tools are included in our defensive driving courses to up-skill participants, helping them to make the change from a passive driver to an active risk manager.

Street Talk Course

NZTA Approved course allowing the holder of a Restricted Licence to apply for a Full Licence in a reduced time. Also suitable for Police Recruits and those referred by the Courts. Through the course you'll develop:

>> advanced driving skills
>> better control
>> the ability to make the right decisions
>> the ability to manage risk
>> an insight into the full licence test.
 
The course is a total of 9 hours, made up of
4 x 2 hour in-class sessions (2 per week for 2 weeks) and a 1 hr in-car practical session.

Corporate Defensive Driving 

This programme has been designed for  professional or experienced drivers and the aim is to save lives, save time and save money in spite of the actions of others. 

The duration of this course is 4-5 hours, and can be run either for a half day or in two sessions depending on the individual requirements. Discounts are available for larger groups by arrangement.

Ideal for Taxi & Ambulance drivers, & companies wanting safer fleet drivers.
