Triple A began as a successful family business in 1972 and we take pride in the fact that we're one of Wellington's best known and longest standing driving schools with a well-respected reputation.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic instructor to join our team, to help us meet the unprecedented demand for driving lessons.  You will need to meet the high standards that our current students expect of us.  Extended training will be provided to the suitable candidate.

Personal qualities we expect in our instructors:

• An experienced driver with a clean driving record to pass the “fit and proper” test,
• Excellent communication skills to be able to teach students with a wide range of abilities and language skills,
• Empathy and patience with the diverse range of students that have many different reasons for needing to learn to drive or improve their skills,
• A strong passion and commitment to ensure safe driving habits are instilled into our students driving skills,
• Be very organised,
• A strong customer service focus as Triple A has an excellent reputation and repeatedly receives very positive feedback from our students.

Other practical qualities you will require:

1. Be a NZ resident, or hold the required work permits,
2. Have held your NZ Full Drivers Licence for at least two years,
3. Financial ability to operate as a self employed contractor (this includes cost of I Endorsement Course and a late model Dual Controlled Vehicle)
4. Flexibility in your hours of work, as the times of high demand are after 3.30pm weekdays and weekends.
