To safely conduct lessons at Alert Level 2 we will be using the following protocols:
If you have signs of being unwell, or have been in contact with someone suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, then we should reschedule your lesson(s) for 2 weeks-time, or longer if symptoms persist.
Please advise us, prior to your lesson, if you have any of the following conditions: chronic asthma, diabetes, or any immune suppressed conditions.
Where possible, we will use the driving school vehicle for lessons.
Your Driving Instructor will greet you outside the car to ascertain if you are showing any symptoms of being unwell.
We would like you to apply your own hand sanitizer before and after the lesson. Your Instructor will hand sanitize between lessons also.
Your Instructor might be wearing a face mask and may ask you to put one on also. If this is the case, we recommend you provide your own mask.
Gloves may be used by your Instructor. You may also want to wear gloves, please provide these yourself.
Sorry, we will not be able to shake your hand.
No passengers in the car during the lesson, unless it is absolutely necessary. Please ask your Instructor prior to the lesson.
Online payments are preferred, made 24 hours prior to the lesson.
For each lesson your Instructor will be:
Going over all the touching surfaces in their vehicle with alcohol/disinfectant wipes before your lesson.
Setting the vehicle ventilation system to bring in fresh air, not to recirculate air. This may also include windows being opened.
Setting the air vents forward of the vehicle to produce an air curtain (positive air pressure) between you and them.
Note: Our instruction vehicles will be used for lessons only and not private use.
